We understand children become frightened when attending for injections. This can lead to anxiety in the parent or carer, making the whole experience more traumatic.
Visit the surgery
We advise not telling your child why they are coming to the doctor, rather let the doctor and nurse vaccinate simultaneously making the experience less frightening by vaccinating as soon as the child has been told. The whole experience will be over before they realise. We will make every effort to make a few little tears be soon forgotten. See also - Immunisation
